Andrea Clamer

Head of Distressed Credit Division illimity

Andrea has a degree in Economics and Business from the University of Pavia, two MBAs from SDA Bocconi and ESADE Business School, and a masters’ degree in strategic management in banking from INSEAD. He began his career in consulting, initially at SAP Italy and then at Deloitte Consulting, where he specialised in risk and capital allocation. He joined the banking sector in 2008 with Toscana Finanza, where he acquired solid experience in the assessment and management of Non-Performing Loans (NPL) portfolios and illiquid assets. When Banca IFIS acquired Toscana Finanza, Andrea became manager of the NPL area and was in charge of developing the servicing platform. He also has corporate governance experience, having sat on the board of directors for both Interbanca and Spaxs. Andrea has participated in the illimity enterprise since its inception, as a promoter, together with Corrado Passera, of Spaxs – the largest special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC) launched in Europe. At illimity, he heads the Distressed Credit Division.
